교수소개

1987년 서울대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 의학박사 학위를 취득
하였으며 서울대학교병원에서 재활의학과 전공의 수련을 마치고 전문의 자
격을 취득하였다.

1996년부터 단국대학교 의과대학에서 교편을 잡고 단국대학교병원 재활의학
과에서 진료 중이다. 주로 근골격계 통증, 뇌졸중을 포함한 뇌질환 환자의 재
활치료를 담당하고 있고, 근전도를 비롯한 전기진단검사에도 많은 경험을 가
지고 있으며, 미국 전기진단의학 전문의 자격(American Board of
Electrodiagnostic Medicine)를 소지하고 있다.

주된 연구 관심 분야는 뇌질환과 전기진단이며, 1998년부터 2000년까지 보건
복지부 연구비 지원하에 뇌졸중 환자의 포괄적인 재활치료에 관한 연구를 수
행한 바 있고, 2004년에는 미국 신경근육계 전기진단의학회(American
Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine)에서
President's Research Initiative Award를 수상한 바 있다.
