교수소개
고려대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 비뇨기과 전문의임. 연구분야는 환자 유전자형에 따른 표현형의 차이(genetic polymorphism)로 전립선암이나 방광암의 진단 및 진행 표지자(biomarker)을 연구하고 있으며, 방광 점막에 분포하고 있는 uroplakin과 방광 질환과의 상관관계도 연구 중에 있음. 또한 요로감염 진단을 위한 kit 개발을 개발 중이며, Chlamydia trachomatis 감염을 진단할 수 있는 kit를 개발 완료하였음. 향 후 전립선비대증, 전립선암, 전립선염 등의 원인 규명과 Pharmacogenetics 분야를 연구할 예정임.
