서울대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 석사와 박사 학위를 받았습니다. 서울대학교 병원에서 인턴 및 내과 레지던트를 수료하고 내과전문의를 취득하였습니다. Massachusetts general hospital and Harvard medical school의 심장내과에서 약 3년간 전임의 수련을 받았으며 이후 단국대학교 의과대학에서 교수로써 교육, 연구를 하고 있습니다. 단국대학교 의료원에서는 심장혈관내과 분과장으로 진료에 임하고 있습니다.
