교수소개

1971년 고려대학교 생물학과에 입학하여 이학사(1979), 이학석사(1981), 이학
박사(1984)학위를 각각 취득하였다. 박사학위 논문은 [배추흰나비의 소화효소
에 관한 연구]로써, 동물생리학이 주전공이다.
1984년 본교 생물학과에 조교수로 부임하여 교수로 재임중이다. 1990년 스웨
덴 Stockholm University에 Visiting Professor, 1999년 미국
Creighton University 의과대학에 Visiting Scholar로 연구하였다. 현재 천연물로부터 새로운 항생제의 개발이 주요한 연구
분야이며 동물생리학, 내분비학, 면역학, 곤충학 등을 강의하고 있다.
